Why is a hard driver with large capacity (such as 200G) detected correctly with it full capacity when system boots up but only 128GB of it detected by OS?

This issue is related to OS. Two ways to solve the problem are recommended: 1. Execute fdisk.exe in DOS mode and create a single partition with all space on the hard drive (or if you want to have more than 1 partitions, make sure each partition is smaller than 128GB. 2. Install Service Pack to your OS, for example, WINXP SP1 or WIN2000 SP3.
