Why do GIGABYTE motherboards indicate different information for country of origin?

This is a standard packaging. Due motherboard components are imported from different countries, and to comply with each country's legislation, we have the following explanations.
  1. According to the criterions of "Change of Tariff Classification", "Value Added" or "Major Manufacturing Procedure" adopted in Article 2 of the WTO Rules of Origin and the definition in Articles 2 & 4 of Taiwan's Regulations Governing the Administration of Certificate of Origin stating "if the processing, manufacturing or components in unison with other country, the product must have undergone substantial transformation in Taiwan", while "substantial transformation" refers to same regulation including "major manufacturing procedure of the products processing or manufacturing has been completed", all can be recognized as products "Made in Taiwan".
  2. GIGABYTE' s motherboards use a variety of components that are imported from different countries, and in compliance with each country's laws, the component itself must indicate the country of origin. Accordingly, you'll see some components that have their country of origin printed on them. The available recommended method to indicate GIGABYTE's product origin is on the outside packaging (the color box) to show either "Made in Taiwan" or "Made in China".
