	GBT Customer Letter To Address 8IPXDR/RedHat LAN Issue

	Acknowledgement of GA-8IPXDR V1.0 Acknowledgement of GA-8IPXDR V1.0 Gigabyte Technology Co. would like to notify 8IPXDR/RedHat users the “LAN incompatibility” solution released from IntelR weekly IntelR E7500 Chipset Family Document Update. Subject: RedHat Linux 7.3 Fixes Issue with IntelR E7500 Chipset and Intel(r) Gigabit LAN Several board manufacturers were seeing a network issue with platforms that had the IntelR E7500 Chipset with an IntelR 82544 or IntelR 82543 LOM while running RedHat* Linux 7.2 with kernel 2.4.10. The issue was slow throughput when one processor was install and no throughput when two processors were installed. This network issue can be resolved by updating the operating system to version 7.2 with kernel 2.4.18 or later. If you still any technical assistance, please contact our technical support.
